Description
The workshop’s proposal is to approach techniques related to pencils and different supports to create unique textures and atmospheres. We will also be able to appreciate the fact that pencil as a medium can exist as something more than just a step in a process. Aspects such as organic crosshatching to create volume, drawing on acetate and vellum, drawing in layers using hard and soft pencils, pencil in the context of mixed media, the purpose of wax-based pencils and others will be demonstrated.
