Prepare paper (tensioned)
The stain: Building a volume with the sponge technique. Learn to plan the work with a first stain and build a volume from lights and shadows.
We will experiment with brushes and sponges.
The importance of letting go in watercolor and solving by taking advantage of the error in painting. Unlock to get the freshness that watercolor needs.
Search for color intensity from overlays and glazes.
Wet and dry technique. The importance of water in watercolor. Possibilities that both techniques offer us to achieve different effects.
Textures in watercolor respecting volume.
The importance of complements to create chiaroscuro.
White in watercolor

First contact with watercolor:

Prepare a watercolor paper.
Importance of color arrangement on palette.
Moisture in the paper.

The volume:

Composition.
Stain.
Build with light from white
Build with light from black
Scratching brush and sponge technique

The color:

The use of color in watercolor and its complements.
Wet technique / dry technique.
Experiment with color and its intensity.
Lose fear in watercolor.

Watercolor brushes:

The ones they have for watercolor. At least three sizes. One for a large boy and two smaller ones.
One with a square tip, synthetic that has harder hair than watercolor hair. A brush that we are going to use to scratch. (I usually take myself so they can try and see what the ones I use are like)

Several:

Expontex sponge
Rembrandt White Acrylic
Masking tape
Brown gummed tape
Mini dryer
