SCHEDULE: Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Spanish time)
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Spanish time)

DURATION: 20 hours.

Day 1:
* Introduction and workshop overview.
* Dive into picture books: elements, analysis, and examples.
* Discuss sketchbook types and usage.
* Exercise on generating story ideas and mood boards.
* Homework: Choose a final story idea.
Day 2:
* Story mood boards.
* Character development: creation, sketching, and coloring.
* Making storyboard.
* What publishers look for in picture book submissions.
* Explore style, techniques, and materials.
* Visual storytelling: style exirceses with Plot Outline
* Homework: Choose fav scen for final work and prepare a reference for a favorite scene.
Day 3:
* Explore color.
* Final illustration: idea selection, reference combining, and sketch preparation.
* Character drawing for scenes (exaggeration exercise)
* Feedback for project, portfolio, answering questions.
* Final presentations: simulating a pitch to publishers(if we have time)
* Closing remarks, networking, and gifts.

Recommended MATERIALS:
1. Sketchbooks:
* A4 “Talents” Sketchbook
2. Pencils:
* 2-3 graphite pencils ranging from 2B to 10B
* Watercolor pencils / Color pencils(few colors of your fav brand)
3. Paints:
* Gouache or Watercolor
4. Other Materials:
* Favorite materials (any type preferred by the artist)
* Scissors
* Glue stick
* If you have a story, bring all related sketches and text.
