Workshop with Samuel Smith.
This workshop will be focused on learning to paint on one layer only.
I will show techniques to stay organised and focus on the essentials, and paint with simple tools to avoid being overwhelmed while not relying on layers.
We will do a mix of lectures and exercises to learn about composition, values and most importantly color temperature.
We will try to do a lot of different quick paintings, trying out different approaches, repetition and experimentation is the key to learning!
Recommended Materials:
PC or tablet with Photoshop or similar.
