Level: Everyone the level are wellcome.
Format: Live classes with demos, exercises, feedback and tutorials. Classes will also be recorded.
Language during the workshop: English.

WEEK 1
June 20. Thursday. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
June 24. Monday. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

“We must draw”:
We will work on 10 drawing principles that will help us throughout the course.
We will do exercises to approach sketching and drawing work in a professional manner.
We will also begin with an initial exploration of character design (first focused on clarity, understanding and development of the drawing)
WEEK 2

July 1. Monday. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
July 2 Tuesday. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“What is a character?”
We will talk specifically about character design. Theoretical concepts that we will use later in our character design work.
We begin with the development of the final work: Generate professional material for a project pitch. The idea is that the final work has portfolio quality.
WEEK 3

“Creative Process”
We will explore variables in the creative processes and in the search for one’s own style.
We continue with the final work, expanding the world and generating content for the portfolio.

July 16. Tuesday. 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“Final Pitch”
Thinking about the final work: We will see what is usually a “pitch bible”
We will focus specifically on character development (visual development). We will put together a final presentation of the characters created during the course.
Requirements:
– Have at least 2 ideas in mind to develop graphically during the course (ideas of characters, story or concept)
Recommended materials: Digital drawing programs such as Photoshop or Procreate. Pencils to paper for notes.

What happens if one day I can’t watch live classes?
• No problem. All classes are live but will also be recorded and published on our platform. So you can see them whenever you want during the duration of the course. This means that if you cannot attend your live class at the stipulated time, you will be able to view them on the platform until the end of the course. These video classes published on the platform can be viewed unlimitedly during the duration of the course but cannot be copied or downloaded. Recorded class can also be viewed for 6 months once the course has finished.
When can I watch classes I missed live?
• Access to the virtual platform where you can consult all the information or documentation of the course, access all the classes already taught or the proposed exercises.
