Description
In the course Theo’ll go over the fundamentals of what makes an image appealing to the eyes inspired by both old masters and modern cinematographers.
Then Theo’ll share a ton a tricks and hacks that will help you speed up your workflow and get you to be more efficient at exploring ideas.
We’ll see how to hide your 3D base and boost the photorealism of it with an in depth paint over workflow and polishing that will keep the piece as illustrative as possible.
We’ll explore the basics of speed modeling in blender for environment dressing, characters and props. We’ll cover in depth how to be good a lighting a scene.
Then Theo’ll show a live example of me applying all this things to make a final piece.
Recommended materials
Software wise :
Mandatory: Blender ( there will be some advanced stuff but I’ll go over some basics for people that might be unfamiliar with it, I’d love to show people who doesn’t integrate 3D in there workflow that it can be easy ) and Photoshop ( classic digital painting skills )
Optional:
Marvelous designer ( I think I’ll explain the basics of setting up a garnement in there but it’s not an obligation to have it to follow the entire course )
Material:
Graphic tablet with pen pressure
A PC ( with a good graphic card is a plus but most PC should be able to handle the workflow )
*Frequent questions:
What happens if I can’t see the classes live one day?
• No problem. All classes are live but will also be recorded and posted on our platform. So you can see them whenever you want throughout the duration of the course. This means that if you cannot attend your class live at the stipulated time, you will be able to see them on the platform until the end of the course. These video-classes posted on the platform can be viewed unlimitedly during the duration of the course but cannot be copied or downloaded. They can also be viewed for 6 months once the course is over.
When can I see the classes I did not attend live?
• Access to the virtual platform where you can consult all the information or documentation of the course, access all the classes that have already been taught or the proposed exercises. When, where and at the rate you want.
