Students will be using a combination of digital and gouache paint to observe and capture accurate color relationships. In addition to all the things mentioned, students will also be learning how to accurately use the medium to convey correct color schemes for the right time of day. This is a great workshop for artists who wish to gain a better understanding of color and lighting! This will be a traditional media-heavy course. Please bring paints (gouache or acrylic) to the class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Throughout the three days there will be practical demonstrations, exercises and lots of feedback.<\/p>\n

We will also be using critiques as a way to better understand the theories and concepts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bio Angela:<\/strong><\/div>\n\n
Currently working as an art director on an unannounced feature film at Sony Pictures Animation, Angela Sung is an experienced art director and visual development artist in animation. She is also a traditional painter who enjoys experimenting art creation with gouache, oil, colored pencil, etc.<\/div>\n

Angela shares her expertise as an art instructor, offering courses and workshops in background design, traditional and digital painting. Co-founder of Warrior Painters and Warrior Art Camp, Angela is dedicated to promoting artistry and education in the entertainment industry.<\/div>\n
