How to convert an idea into an illustration?<\/div>\n
Where can we find the concret elements that allow us to create some visual?<\/div>\n
That\u2019s the point of my workshop.<\/div>\n
More than technic, that can be controlled step by step by practicing, It is quite important for an illustrator to know what he want to say, and what tools he can find to do it.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Rebecca will try to share with the students her experience as an illustrator for 20 years. How Rebecca try to control the creative process of her images. How Rebecca try out different connections between idea and illustration. We will observe a few exemples and try to\u00a0 understand the different possibilities we have to create a link between text an image.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We will first have different short exercices, testing the theory .<\/div>\n
Rebecca will propose to the student to follow a specific process to find the composition, the action, the background\u2026etc<\/div>\n
Then Rebecca will give a subject they will have to develop more fully.<\/div>\n
Step by step we will try to go as far as possible to prepare the final realization .<\/div>\n
We will talk about light and colored sketches.<\/div>\n
Rebecca will show concret exemples from my own work .<\/div>\n
The goal would be to control mentally all the details of the artwork before to realize it.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
For those who get their project ready, we can talk about the finalization.<\/div>\n
Student should come with a few artworks from their own work.<\/div>\n
We will talk about technics. How to go on and improve their technic, keep something coherent and personal.<\/div>\n
Rebecca can give a short demo of her own for those who want to see it and test it.<\/div>\n

The last day, If students are interested in knowing a bit more about Rebecca journey, Rebecca will show them different projects she had, and share with them author-illustrator\u2019s experiences<\/div>\n
